The Rock Community Radio hosts fundraiser screening of ‘Pulp Fiction’
Proceeds from the event will support community radio station
– The Rock Community Radio will host a fundraiser screening of the film “Pulp Fiction” at the Bay Theatre in Morro Bay on April 21. The event will include audience participation, themed costumes, and a raffle.
The screening will be held at the Bay Theatre, 464 Morro Bay Blvd. Doors open at 5 p.m., with the film beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at my805tix.com or TheRockCommunityRadio.org. Walk-up tickets will also be available at the venue.
“Pulp Fiction,” directed by Quentin Tarantino, features a cast including John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, Bruce Willis, and Christopher Walken. Attendees are encouraged to wear themed costumes for a chance to win prizes. Wine and beer will be available for purchase, and a raffle will be held for an 8-foot Stewart Hydro-Cush Funline surfboard.
Proceeds from the event will support The Rock Community Radio, a non-profit station serving San Luis Obispo County. “These screenings are always a blast,” said The Rock founder Hal Abrams. “When you support The Rock, you lift every local nonprofit that uses The Rock airwaves to spread their message. It’s a win-win.”
The Rock Community Radio, also known as 97.3/107.9 The Rock, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operated and supported by listeners and residents of San Luis Obispo County. The station provides community-based FM radio and online programming, as well as public safety programming, emergency preparedness education, and emergency alert announcements for Paso Robles, Templeton, Atascadero, Morro Bay, Los Osos, and Cayucos.
