“THS Softball nominates Tegan Jay. She is a freshman and our starting pitcher. She pitched 3 games last week. Over all 3 games she faced 76 batters, 18 innings pitched, allowed only 5 earned runs, 3 walks, 14 strikeouts. She pitched a shutout against Orcutt Academy on Thursday striking out 8 and allowing no walks that game. She was also good at the plate 3-5 with 2 singles and a double, and 1 RBI. She had an outstanding week on the mound!”
