Warm weekend brings sun before cooler weather arrives next week
Cooler air returns with partly cloudy skies midweek
– A warm and sunny weekend is in store before cooler temperatures settle in across the region next week, according to the latest forecast.
Friday will bring the warmest day in the outlook, with partly cloudy skies and a high of 84 degrees. The dry and pleasant weather continues into the weekend, with sunny skies expected Saturday and Sunday and daytime highs of 79 and 78 degrees, respectively. Overnight lows will remain crisp, ranging from the low to mid-40s.
The beginning of the workweek will mark a gradual cooling trend. Monday will be mostly sunny with a high of 75 degrees. Temperatures will dip further Tuesday through Thursday, with daytime highs holding steady at 69 degrees and lows around 45. Skies will alternate between partly cloudy and mostly sunny.
By Friday, the forecast calls for a slight uptick in temperatures, reaching 72 degrees under partly cloudy skies. No precipitation is expected throughout the week.
