Highlands Trail to close for pedestrian bridge installation
Work scheduled to begin today, continue through the end of the month
– The Highlands Trail will temporarily close this month as construction crews install a new pedestrian bridge, according to an announcement from the City of Paso Robles. Work is scheduled to begin April 15 and continue through the end of the month.
Construction will take place on the segment of the trail between Highlands Church and Nicklaus Street, located just north of Oak Hill Road. The closure is required to ensure pedestrian safety during the bridge installation.
Trail users are advised to use alternative routes from April 15 through April 30. Signs will be placed at trailheads by the contractor to notify pedestrians of the closure and provide information about detours.
