Obituary of Justin Henry Wiebe, 44

Justin Henry Wiebe.
– It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Justin Henry Wiebe. Justin passed unexpectedly on March 13, 2025 after organ failure that was caused by an aortic dissection.
Justin is a remarkable man and a loving father, husband, and son.
Justin was born to Toni and Raymond Wiebe on August 19, 1980. He was raised on their family ranch in Adelaida, Paso Robles and was proud of where he was from and the way he was raised. Upon his confession of faith, Justin was baptized into the Mennonite church. He attended Georgia Brown, Bauer Speck, and Flamson, graduating in 1998 from PRHS. He had a Bearcats sticker on his truck up until his unexpected last day.
Family was everything to Justin. Justin loved spending time with his parents, Toni and Raymond, his siblings Catherine and Brandon, and his grandparents. He entered many competitions in the Mid-State Fair and often won with his floral and baking entries.
Justin obtained a degree in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and moved to Orange County, where he met the love of his life; Heather Smirl. Justin and Heather married in 2009 and went on to have two wonderful children. They moved to the Central Coast in 2014, to give their family the best possible life. Justin, Heather, Peyton (14) and Sutter (11), now live in Los Osos on their property, Wiebe Ranch West.
Family remained his priority, and his kids were always the center of his world and the top of his list. His great-grandfather was Henry, and that name carried on as the middle name in three generations of firstborn sons through Raymond Henry, Justin Henr,y and Sutter Henry Wiebe. Justin adores his family. He coached baseball, cheered at the Nutcracker, and threw legendary holiday parties; always decked out in the most absurd holiday outfit he could find. Who else would ask their wife to knit them an Easter sweater and pair it with Easter themed Nike Dunks?
Justin is forever the king of a one-line zinger and is also a baseball lover, holiday fanatic, kid magnet, tech wizard and incredible cook. Justin is selfless and always puts others first.
In addition to being a CRM Manager for Concordia University, he was also the president of Coast Little League and BPA Central. He loved sharing that with his family and his community. His initials are now on the field opposite their house. In one of the first games this season, we truly felt him there in a game that can only be described as what American folklore is made of. We know Coach Justin loved seeing his boys win and then have an impromptu batting practice in the sheer joy and love of the game.
Justin is forever the best husband, father, son, friend, coach, mentor, and man. We miss him every moment of every day. We will forever love, honor, and celebrate him. Justin Henry Wiebe forever.
