Rotary Club of Paso Robles Sunrise donates to local summer camp
Club currently recruiting new members
– The Rotary Club of Paso Robles Sunrise has donated $1,950 to Camp Ocean Pines in Cambria. The funds will sponsor a youth from North County who would otherwise be unable to attend the summer camp.
“Camp Ocean Pines is a safe and inclusive environment where campers learn to make new friends and how to be a part of a group,” said Executive Director Andrew Boyd-Goodrich, “Through activities as wide-ranging as shooting a bow-and-arrow, holding a hermit crab, dabbling in watercolors, and enthusiastically singing an off-key song, each camper has a meaningful opportunity to connect, explore, and grow. We accept every kid for who they are, and help them grow into who they want to be.”
Boyd-Goodrich is a member of the Cambria Rotary Club. Rotary has clubs across the Central Coast and provides opportunities for networking, fellowship, and community service. Meetings often include speakers from industries such as non-profits and government agencies.
The Rotary Club of Paso Robles Sunrise is currently recruiting new members. Meetings are held Wednesday mornings at 7 a.m. at the Culinary Arts Academy. For more information, visit https://portal.clubrunner.ca/2172/ or call (805) 712-8652.
