Paso Robles Rotary Club hosts annual golf fundraiser May 10
Tournament and auction support youth-focused groups
– The Paso Robles Rotary Club will hold its annual golf tournament fundraiser on May 10 at Hunter Ranch, with check-in beginning at 7:30 a.m. and a shotgun start scheduled for 8:30 a.m. The event will follow a scramble format and feature four-player teams.
This marks the 32nd year the club has hosted the event. In the last 10 years, the tournament has raised more than $400,000 to benefit youth programs in Paso Robles.
Proceeds from the tournament go to local organizations that support children, including the Boys and Girls Club, CASA, Youth Arts Foundation, Children’s Museum, Boy Scouts, Morning Star Youth Ranch, Youth Soccer, Youth Works, Paso Robles middle schools, Paso Robles High School, and Skills USA.
The fundraising effort also includes a silent auction on the evening before the tournament. This year’s auction will take place Friday, May 9. The club is currently accepting donations for both the silent auction and raffle, which will be held on the day of the tournament. Past donations have included vacation and golf packages, amusement park tickets, gift certificates, bottles of wine, and merchandise.
Organizers expect over 120 players and participating businesses at this year’s event.
Sponsorship opportunities are available. A tee sponsor donation is $150. A business partner package is available for $1,000 and includes four golfer entries, a tee box sign, lunch, and a gift bag.
