Local nonprofit names Cara Wright as director of development and community engagement

– Must! Charities has appointed Cara Wright as its new director of development and community engagement.
Wright is a fourth-generation resident of San Luis Obispo County. She will lead efforts to build partnerships and advance the mission of the organization, which supports local nonprofit initiatives addressing needs such as education, food insecurity, housing, and youth services in northern San Luis Obispo County.
“This is a monumental moment for Must! Charities,” said Becky Gray, chief executive officer of Must! Charities. “Cara is a true force for good—someone who understands the fabric of our community and has the leadership, innovation, and heart to help take our mission to the next level. We could not be more excited to have her on our team.”
Wright said she looks forward to contributing to the group’s long-term strategy and mission.
