Friends of the Paso Robles Library to host spring book sale later this month
Proceeds help expand collections and library enrichment programs
– The Friends of the Paso Robles Library will hold their semi-annual book sale at the Paso Robles City Library later this month.
Shoppers will be able to browse and purchase books, magazines, music CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks, all priced by the inch when stacked. Proceeds from the sale will go directly to the library.
Members of the Friends of the Library will have exclusive access to shop early on May 22 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Non-members can also attend by joining at the door. The sale will then open to the public on May 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and continue on May 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. No sales tax will be charged on any purchases.
Revenue from the sale helps support enrichment programs and collection expansion at the Paso Robles City Library. While the city provides core funding, additional support from sales and donations allows the library to offer a wider range of resources and services.
The Paso Robles City Library was established in 1907 with the help of a grant from Andrew Carnegie. It continues to serve the community with traditional library materials and programs that support lifelong learning.
