    Warming trend to bring 90-degree temperatures to region this week

    Warming trend begins Wednesday after cooler start to the week

    – Residents should prepare for a significant warming trend this week, with temperatures expected to peak in the 90s by Friday, according to the latest forecast.

    Monday begins with sunny skies and a high of 76 degrees, dropping to 46 degrees overnight. Tuesday will bring partly cloudy conditions with a slightly cooler high of 68 degrees and a low of 47.

    The warming trend begins Wednesday, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures climbing to 75 degrees. Thursday will see mostly sunny conditions with the mercury rising to 88 degrees, followed by overnight lows of 54.

    Friday marks the peak of the heat wave with sunny skies and temperatures soaring to 93 degrees. Similar conditions will persist Saturday with a high of 92 degrees. Both days will see overnight lows in the mid-50s.

    A cooling trend is expected by Sunday, with temperatures returning to 78 degrees under sunny skies and dropping to 47 degrees overnight.
