– Hambly Lavender Farm will open for the 2025 season on Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering lavender bouquet harvesting, farm tours, animal encounters and access to picnic areas with views of the surrounding landscape.
The family-owned and operated farm, located in San Miguel, practices regenerative farming and will offer its lavender you-pick experience every Thursday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., beginning May 11 and continuing through Sept. 1. Peak bloom is expected between late May and July, depending on weather conditions.
Opening Day includes lavender bouquet harvesting as part of the you-pick experience, mini farm tours at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. with farm host Milton, and access to the farm’s animals. Farm tours are included with the purchase of a you-pick ticket on May 11 only.
Visitors are welcome to bring picnics and relax on the property, which features vineyard and field views, rolling hills and a new hammock. The on-site Farm Store will be open for bouquet wrapping and to offer estate-made lavender products.
“In addition to offering a relaxing, stress reducing space — we offer an experience you and your guests will remember long after your visit ends,” said Gina Hambly.
