Library to host wildlife presentation with Pacific Wildlife Care
Presentation aims to shed light on these fascinating animals that residents may encounter in their own backyards
– The Paso Robles City Library will partner with Pacific Wildlife Care for an in-person presentation titled “Songs of the Animals” on Wednesday, June 11 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The event, part of the Library on Tour musical Summer Reading Program, will focus on the sounds made by a Great Horned Owl, an American kestrel, and a Pallid Bat.
Attendees will learn about how these local creatures communicate and whether humans can hear the same sounds they produce. The presentation aims to shed light on these fascinating animals that residents may encounter in their own backyards.
Registration is required, and space is limited. Each family member attending must register separately. The class is open to participants aged 16 and older. Registration is available through Sept. 27.
