School district names Gustavo Ramirez ‘Classified Employee of the Year’

– The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District has named Gustavo Ramirez, custodian at Glen Speck Elementary, Classified Employee of the Year.
According to the district, Ramirez “consistently goes above and beyond in his role, exemplifying the qualities of dedication, positivity, and service that make him an invaluable member of our school community.”
Since joining the staff, Ramirez has maintained a positive attitude and is regularly seen smiling. The district cited his commitment to creating a welcoming and clean environment and his care for students.
“Gustavo has formed strong and meaningful relationships with the students, and they eagerly look forward to seeing him each day,” the district stated. “His warm demeanor and approachable nature have made him a beloved figure on campus, with students often stopping to chat or share a smile.”
District staff also noted Ramirez’s support of teaching personnel. “Gustavo is always willing to lend a hand, whether it’s with a simple request or a more time-sensitive task. His willingness to assist teachers in any way possible, coupled with his strong work ethic, make him an invaluable member of our team.”
The recognition was part of the district’s annual awards honoring classified employees across its schools.
