School district names Julie Fulmer ‘Student Support Services Employee of the Year’

– The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District has named Julie Fulmer, an English language learner and special education teacher on special assignment, as Student Support Services Employee of the Year.
Fulmer began her role in the district this year and has already contributed to several areas of student support. “Julie is new to our district as a TOSA this year, but she leads with copious amounts of institutional knowledge, she hit the ground here running and has already made incredible progress in supporting our English Learner and Special Education students through her efforts,” the district stated.
District officials noted her work in professional development and instructional strategies. “Her dedication to providing professional development on best practices in differentiation has empowered teachers to meet the diverse needs of their students, creating a more inclusive learning environment,” the statement read.
The district also cited Fulmer’s focus on equity and inclusion. “Julie’s passion for equity and inclusion is evident in all her efforts,” the statement said. “She has made a positive impact not only on her students but also on the entire district community through her collaborative spirit and commitment to fostering a supportive atmosphere for all learners.”
