Hannah McFarland joins as support for Sept. 25 performance
– Chase Rice has added a stop at Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles to his Go Down Singin’ International Tour. The performance is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 25. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster starting Friday, May 30, at 10 a.m.
Singer-songwriter Hannah McFarland will join as support for the Paso Robles date.
Rice announced the expanded tour on May 27. The tour features music from his album “Go Down Singin’,” which is being performed for audiences worldwide. The Paso Robles performance is part of the extended run through the fall.
Rice recently released “Fireside Sessions,” a live follow-up project featuring 25 songs from “Go Down Singin’” and his prior album “I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell.” The tracks were recorded as live, single-take versions with featured artists including Lori McKenna, Jackson Dean, Hunter Phelps and Randy Montana.
In March, Rice released “Live From Chief’s,” an EP that includes acoustic performances of Eric Church’s “Carolina,” George Strait’s “I Can Still Make Cheyenne,” and a previously unreleased original song titled “Cowboy Goodbye.”
Rice has sold more than 2.6 million albums and accumulated over 2.8 billion total streams. His independent album “Go Down Singin’” follows the release of “I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell.” Both albums are combined in “Fireside Sessions,” a songwriter-focused project that reflects the evolution of Rice’s music. The new material follows his three-part release “The Album,” which included the Platinum-certified No. 1 hit “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen.” and the Platinum-certified Top 10 single “Lonely If You Are.”
Rice’s earlier projects include his sophomore album “Lambs & Lions,” which featured the 3x Platinum two-week chart-topper “Eyes On You,” his first No. 1 as an artist. Before that, “Ignite the Night” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart. That album produced the Platinum-certified single “Gonna Wanna Tonight” and the Double Platinum “Ready Set Roll.”
In addition to headlining his own tours, Rice has performed on sold-out stadium tours with Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks.
