– Sally Daniel, 77, passed away peacefully with family by her side on May 24, 2025, in Paso Robles, California. Born on Sept. 16, 1947, in Butte, Montana, Sally lived a life marked by dedication to her family, a distinguished career in finance, and a deep love for children and animals.
Sally’s professional journey was one of commitment and excellence. She served as Vice President and Trust Officer at Farmers and Merchants Bank in Long Beach, California, where she earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike. Her expertise later led her to Woodway Financial Advisors in Houston, Texas, where she continued her work in finance with integrity and care. Sally also contributed her talents to Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, focusing on investing and helping shape the institution’s financial future.
While her career was impressive, it was Sally’s devotion to her family that truly defined her life. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Terri Lynn and husband Bill, Son Paul, and wife Dena. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Serena, Haley, Kayla, Paul, and Emma. Family was of utmost importance to Sally – she found joy in every moment spent with them.
Sally had a warm heart for both children and animals. She delighted in caring for others’ little ones and shared a special bond with her beloved cat Mia. Bowling brought her joy as well – a pastime that reflected her spirited nature and love of friendly competition.
In recent years, Sally faced the challenges of dementia with courage and grace. For over six years, she fought that battle with strength that inspired those around her.
In honor of Sally’s memory and passions, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Woods Humane Society.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Funeral will be held on July 6, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. at North County Christian Fellowship, 905 Vine Street in Paso Robles, CA. Mom loved desserts, so dessert and coffee will be served after the service.
