Guests bring unopened dog treats or new toys for free tastings
– Dracaena Wines in Paso Robles will host a month-long event in July to support a local animal shelter. The event, called Corks for Canines, invites guests to bring unopened bags of dog treats or new dog toys to the tasting room in exchange for a complimentary wine tasting and 10 percent off wine purchases made that day.
All donated items will be given to the local animal shelter to assist dogs waiting for adoption.
“This event is our way of blending two of our greatest passions—great wine and happy dogs,” said Lori Budd, co-owner of Dracaena Wines. “We believe wine has the power to bring people together, and what better reason to gather than helping our community’s most loyal companions?”
The Corks for Canines event runs from July 1 through July 31 during regular tasting room hours at Dracaena Wines, located at 1244 Pine Street in Paso Robles. No reservations are required, though they are encouraged for groups or weekend visits.
Dracaena Wines is known as one of Paso Robles’ most dog-welcoming tasting rooms, offering water bowls and belly rubs to visiting dogs.
