    City of Atascadero kicks off summer concert series this week 

    Atascadero's summer concert series continues with Josh Rosenblum Band

    Series features variety of music at Atascadero Lake Park

    – The City of Atascadero will kick off the 2025 Saturday in the Park Summer Concert Series on June 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand. The opening performance will feature the Rockin’ Bs Band.

    The Rockin’ Bs Band includes Julie Beaver, Kenny Blackwell, Wally Barnick, and Art Dougall. Beaver is a country and blues violinist and vocalist. Blackwell is a guitarist and singer. Barnick plays electric bass and provides vocals. Dougall plays drums. The band performs a range of musical styles.

    The concert series will continue nearly every Saturday evening throughout the summer at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand. All concerts are free to attend. The schedule is as follows:

    • June 28: The Rockin’ Bs Band (rock, country, and more)
    • July 5: Garden Party (classic soft rock)
    • July 12: Josh Rosenblum Band (pop/rock blues)
    • July 26: The Platinum Beat (high energy hits from across the decades and genres)
    • August 2: Ghost Monster (feel good rock from all eras)
    • August 9: The JD Project (rock, blues, and country)
    • August 30: End of Summer Blues Bash, 6 to 9 p.m., featuring The Cinders Blues Band (blues) and Leslie Rogers and the Soul Shakers (R&B, Motown, soulful blues)

     

    Concertgoers are encouraged to bring low-back chairs. Food will be available for purchase.
