Atascadero Chamber opens nominations for 2025 wINC Awards
Nominations close Aug. 1 for women making local impact
– The Atascadero Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Atascadero chapter, is accepting nominations for the 2025 Women of Influence North County (wINC) Awards. Nominations will remain open through Friday, Aug. 1 at 11:59 p.m.
The wINC program recognizes women throughout North County who are making an impact in their industries and communities. Proceeds from the awards benefit AAUW’s Tech Trek program, which supports young girls pursuing science, technology, engineering and math education.
“Our goal is to highlight women who are shaping the future of North County through their leadership, innovation, and community involvement,” said Josh Cross, president and CEO of the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce. “Their stories not only inspire, but also promote a culture of empowerment and equality in our region.”
Three honorees will be recognized during a luncheon scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 11 at SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Atascadero. Each honoree will share her story, accomplishments and goals. One woman will be selected to receive the 2025 Woman of Influence Award, which will be presented at the Chamber’s Annual Awards Dinner and Gala in 2026.
Community members and organizations may nominate women who demonstrate leadership, excellence and community involvement. Nominations can be submitted at www.atascaderochamber.org/women-of-influence-north-county.
