Templeton student awarded $2,000 scholarship for college
Saint Mary’s College of California.
– Essity, a global hygiene and health company with local operations in Los Angeles, has awarded a $2,000 scholarship to Molly Floberg of Templeton as part of its annual scholarship program for children of employees. Floberg will attend Saint Mary’s College of California in the fall.
Students received a combined total of $78,500 in Essity scholarships to use toward full-time education at accredited universities in the United States and Canada for the 2025-26 school year. Over the past 15 years, Essity has awarded more than $1.2 million to high school seniors and college students.
Recipients were selected based on academic achievements, leadership, participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of goals, and an outside appraisal.
