Update: Missing juvenile found safe

– Navada Austin, the 16-year-old at-risk juvenile reported missing from Nipomo on 7-10-25, has been located safe and has been reunited with her family.
“We want to thank the community for their help in sharing the information and assisting in her safe return,” said the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office in a press release.

– The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing at-risk juvenile, 16-year-old Navada Austin.
Navada was reported missing on July 10 from her residence in Nipomo. She was last seen leaving the area around 11:15 a.m. that day.
She is described as a white female, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair. She has a light complexion and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and carrying a black backpack. She also has a nose ring.
Since her disappearance, Navada has possibly been seen in both San Miguel and Santa Maria. In both instances, she was reportedly accompanied by a white male juvenile. Authorities believe she may be attempting to travel out of state to Washington.
