Fundraiser event supports trauma and trafficking recovery efforts
Event includes raffles, silent auction and donation opportunities
– A community fundraiser supporting trauma recovery services and anti-human trafficking initiatives will take place on Monday, Aug. 4, from noon to 8 p.m. at Cal Coast Beer Company, located at 1346 Railroad Street in Paso Robles.
The event, organized by Resilient Souls, aims to raise funds for survivor aftercare, trauma-informed support, education and local and national awareness efforts related to human trafficking and trauma abuse.
A percentage of all food and on-site drink sales that day will go to Resilient Souls. Point-of-sale donation buttons at Cal Coast Beer Company registers will allow guests to make additional contributions, with 100 percent of those donations going directly to the nonprofit.
The event will include a silent auction and raffles. An information table will be available for visitors to learn about Resilient Souls’ mission, which focuses on building a trauma recovery and training center offering care for individuals impacted by domestic violence, human trafficking, exploitation and abuse.
Organizers encourage community members to attend, learn more about the issue of human trafficking, and consider getting involved.
