Willow Creek Distillery hosting event with live music and cocktails
Event includes live music, spirits tastings and gourmet hot dogs
– Willow Creek Distillery will host its first “Bourbon & Banjos” event on Aug. 1, featuring live bluegrass music, specialty cocktails, spirits tastings and gourmet hot dogs.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. at Willow Creek Distillery, located at the Opolo Vineyards estate on the westside of Paso Robles. Tickets are $20 per person and include a welcome cocktail and live entertainment. Admission is complimentary for distillery members. Gourmet hot dogs, additional cocktails and spirits tastings will be available for purchase. Prizes and giveaways will be offered throughout the night.
“We conceived ‘Bourbon & Banjos’ as a fun, tasty and intimate concert event in a beautiful vineyard setting,” said head distiller Kevin Coulton. “It’s a time to dance the night away or just kick back and soak up the vibes.”
Guests will receive their choice of a whiskey sour or bourbon espresso martini upon arrival. Other offerings include tastings of signature spirits such as Malt ‘n Oats California Straight Whiskey, V.S.O.P. Artisanal Brandy and After Dark Chocolate Liqueur.
The San Luis Obispo-based Patagonia Hot Dogs will serve gourmet hot dogs made with fresh ingredients. Live music will be performed by Hot October, a Southern California acoustic quintet known for its harmonies and contemporary bluegrass sound.
Willow Creek Distillery was established in 2013 by the Quinn and Nichols families. The distillery is a member of the Paso Robles Distillery Trail and produces whiskeys, brandies and liqueurs.
