City extends Centennial Pool swim lessons into fall
– The Paso Robles Recreation Services Division’s aquatics program will extend its season through Sept. 25 to offer private swim lessons at Centennial Pool, 600 Nickerson Drive.
The city’s aquatics season has traditionally run from mid-June to early August. This year, for the first time, the swim season will continue into the fall.
“We are very fortunate to be able to continue the season and offer additional private swim lessons this year,” said Aquatics Coordinator V. Teeter. “Our swim instructors are excited to continue to teach community members how to be safer and more confident in the water.”
Private swim lessons will be offered in one-week sessions, Monday through Thursday, at various times. Each lesson is 30 minutes and is available for participants age 3 and older.
Registration for extended August lessons will open Aug. 7 at 9 a.m. at prcity.com/recreation. Registration for September lessons will open Aug. 20 at 9 a.m.
Two other aquatic activities, Aqua Jam and SKWIM, will also continue into the fall at Centennial Pool.
