Library to host Crafternoon with screening of The Wedding Singer 

Guests encouraged to bring knitting, crocheting, or other craft projects

– The Paso Robles City Library will host an in-person Crafternoon on Aug. 16 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., inviting attendees to bring knitting, crocheting, fiber arts, or other crafts for an afternoon of crafting and film.

Lights will be kept low so participants can see both the screen and their projects. This month’s film is “The Wedding Singer.”

The movie follows aspiring rock ’n’ roller Robbie Hart, who regularly sings at weddings. When his fiancée leaves him at the altar, he becomes a problem for newlyweds until he decides to help the woman he loves escape her fiancé.
