The Alchemists’ Garden to host ‘Cocktail Challenge Round 2’
Event to feature live cocktail crafting, judging
– The Alchemists’ Garden will host Round 2 of the Cocktail Challenge on Aug. 18, starting at 5 p.m., at 1144 Pine Street in Paso Robles.
The event will feature bartenders from across the region crafting cocktails live in front of a panel of judges. Each competitor will use Fernet Branca as a required ingredient. The series is a multi-round bartending competition, with Round 3 scheduled for November.
“It is all about celebrating the artistry of cocktail making and fostering the vibrant bartending community in our region,” said Quin Cody, co-owner. “We cannot wait to see the creativity on display in Round 2 and we are already looking forward to the exciting conclusion in Round 3 this November.”
Spectators may RSVP for free viewing or purchase $25 tasting tickets. Ticket holders will sample each competition cocktail and vote for the People’s Choice Award. Competitors will be judged on creativity, flavor balance, presentation and guest engagement.
A tattoo artist will be on site offering complimentary Fernet-inspired tattoos on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event will take place at The Alchemists’ Garden and The Remedy. Tasting tickets and RSVPs for free viewing are available online at https://www.alchemistsgarden.com.
