Vehicle broken into at Templeton Tennis Ranch on Sunday

    Sheriff's Badge

    – A vehicle parked at Templeton Tennis Ranch was broken into Sunday afternoon around 1:30 p.m., and personal property was taken, according to the club.

Anyone who was at the club that afternoon and noticed suspicious people or vehicles is asked to report it to the Templeton Tennis Ranch front desk or contact the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office at (805) 434-4290.

Templeton Tennis Ranch said vehicle burglaries are not uncommon in North County, and other local fitness clubs have experienced similar and repeat crimes.

The club reminded members and guests to remain vigilant by observing their surroundings in the parking lot and reporting suspicious activity. Visitors are urged not to leave valuables in their vehicles. Bags, purses, and backpacks should be stored out of sight or secured in day-use lockers available at the ranch.

Templeton Tennis Ranch said it will evaluate additional security measures, including improved parking lot lighting and expanded video surveillance.
