    City of Paso Robles to consider fee increases across city departments 

    City council receives update on Highway 46 East overpass project

    Public hearing to be held Sept. 16

    – The Paso Robles City Council will hold a public hearing on Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 1000 Spring Street to consider adoption of a resolution to increase and amend certain user and regulatory fees.

    The proposed amendments are intended to promote cost recovery for services provided by city departments and divisions. The fees under review include public safety, airport, utility-related administration for non-regular service, library, recreation, and administration.

    The city’s Community Development fees, which cover building, planning, engineering and development services, are not included in this hearing and will be presented at a future date.

    Information related to the proposed fees, including the User and Regulatory Fee Study and the proposed schedule of fees, has been publicly available for at least 10 days. The documents can be viewed at www.prcity.com/159/Fees-for-City-Services.

    Members of the public will be able to make oral or written comments at the hearing. Copies of the staff report and resolution describing the fees will be available for review at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall and at www.prcity.com/meetings no later than 72 hours before the hearing. Copies may be purchased for the cost of reproduction.

    Residents can livestream the meeting at www.prcity.com/youtube. Public comment will be accepted by phone at (805) 865-7276 during the meeting. Written comments can be submitted to cityclerk@prcity.com before noon on the day of the meeting.

    Any documents related to open session items distributed to a majority of the council after posting of the agenda will be available for public inspection at the City Clerk’s Office during business hours and at www.prcity.com/meetings.
