– Paso Robles High School will induct its 2025 Hall of Fame class on Oct. 3 during halftime of the Bearcats’ football game against Arroyo Grande High School at War Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
This year’s honorees include the 1974 CIF Champion Football Team and three alumni: Karen McConnell, Justin Davis, and Jerry Shreeves.

Karen McConnell.
McConnell, a member of the Class of 1986, earned 10 varsity letters in volleyball, basketball, and track and field. She was a three-time all-league selection in volleyball, a two-time all-league honoree in basketball, and a four-year CIF qualifier in track and field. She was named the 1986 Paso Robles High School Athlete of the Year. After graduation, she played volleyball at Cuesta College, helping the team win a state championship, and later received a volleyball scholarship to Eastern Montana College.

Justin Davis.
Davis, a member of the Class of 1989, was a three-sport athlete in football, track, and wrestling. He placed fourth at the California State Wrestling Meet, one of the highest honors in high school athletics. He went on to attend Stanford University, where he competed in rugby and skiing while participating in Sigma Chi Fraternity.
Shreeves, a member of the Class of 1969, played on the Bearcat golf team as a freshman and helped win the program’s first league championship. He later placed third at the CIF individual tournament and became the youngest San Luis Obispo County Golf Champion in 1970. After competing at Cuesta College, he entered the PGA Apprentice Program and served as a golf professional at Pine Mountain Lake and Paso Robles Country Club.

Jerry Shreeves.
The 1974 Bearcats football team finished with a 13-0 record, outscoring opponents 345 to 42. The team captured the CIF Class A Championship.
“We are thrilled to honor these remarkable alumni and the 1974 CIF Champion Football Team,” said Mike Susank, athletic director of Paso Robles High School. “Their achievements not only celebrate the rich history of Bearcat athletics but also inspire today’s athletes to uphold the tradition of excellence.”
Community members, alumni, and supporters are invited to attend the game. Tickets will be available at the gate or online at gofan.co.
