Fire along Highway 101 backs up traffic

– A vegetation fire along Highway 101 near Highway 58 in northern San Luis Obispo County stopped southbound traffic Wednesday afternoon, according to multiple reports.
The fire was first reported at about 2:55 p.m. and grew to two acres by 3:14 p.m., with potential to reach five acres, reports say.
Forward progress was stopped at around 2 acres, according to reports.
One structure was threatened as the fire spread across lanes. Cal Fire, the California Highway Patrol, and air attack units have responded.
