.– Almond Acres Charter Academy has announced that Joe Ledoux will serve as its next executive director. He began at the school on Oct. 1.
Ledoux was welcomed Wednesday morning during the school’s Spirit Week celebration at the K-8 campus. Joining the event were AACA Assistant Director Megan Zettle, faculty, staff, students, AACA families, and Dr. Joe Koski, assistant superintendent of the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education.
The school board said Ledoux brings more than 27 years of experience in education, having served as a teacher, principal, coordinator, and district leader. In his previous role with the Templeton Unified School District, he worked with educators, specialists, and support staff to serve students.
Board members said Ledoux emphasizes academic achievement along with social, emotional, and behavioral growth. They also noted his focus on transparent communication, strong family partnerships, and ensuring that students have access to resources.
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Dr. Ledoux to AACA! His diverse background in the classroom, administration, and special education will be a wonderful asset to our school’s leadership. It’s clear that he has done his homework on our school philosophy, and we can’t wait for the vibrant energy he brings to our campus, perfectly aligning with our learning style of Heart, Mind, Body, and Soul!” said Ashley Lundy, AACA parent and school board member.
