Walk for Cancer returns Oct. 26 to Santa Margarita
– The Cancer Support Community – California Central Coast will hold its fourth annual Walk for Cancer on Oct. 26 at 9 a.m. at Ancient Peaks Barn in Santa Margarita.
Participants will walk a two-mile course through Santa Margarita Ranch before gathering at Ancient Peaks Barn. The event will include live music, food available for purchase from local food trucks, and a complimentary glass of wine for participants. Costumes and team participation are encouraged.
Tickets are $25 per person. Proceeds will support free programs and services for local cancer patients and their families.
“Our Walk for Cancer has grown into a joyful tradition that unites our community around one powerful purpose: supporting those impacted by cancer,” said Candice Galli, executive director of the organization. “We can’t wait to see teams, costumes, and community spirit fill the Ranch this October—we’re ready to make this the most memorable Walk yet.”
Registration is open at cscslo.org/events, where participants can sign up individually, create a team or join an existing one.
