Robert Grindstaff, 93, Saratoga
– Robert Grindstaff passed away Sept. 25, 2025, at the age of 93 surrounded by family.
Robert was a graduate of Paso Robles High School in 1949. He also attended Cal Poly College. Robert served 4 years in the United States Air Force. In 1954 Robert married his first wife Carol, who enjoyed 46 years together and produced 4 children. After the passing of Carol, Robert found love again and married Anna. They remained married until his death. Robert enjoyed car races, car shows and loved spending time in his garden. He also enjoyed car trips to different places.
Robert loved going to the coast to the beach. Robert is survived by his wife Anna, his children Sandy (Sam), Scott, Julie (Scott), and Michelle. Robert also had 6 stepchildren, Pam, Mark, Matt, Cathy, Stephanie, and Michael. Robert had 5 grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren as well as numerous great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol, and his stepson Matt.
A celebration of life has been scheduled for Nov. 8, 2025, at 12 noon at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Road, Lodi, CA.
