Road repair to begin on Apion Court next week
– The Street Maintenance Division will begin a minor pavement repair project on Apion Court the week of Oct. 27, with work expected to last about one week, according to a notice by the City of Paso Robles.
The project will address uneven areas in the road that have created rough driving conditions. Crews will remove damaged pavement, reinforce the road base, and install new asphalt to create a smoother and safer surface.
The repairs are part of the city’s ongoing pavement improvement initiative funded through Measure I-24, the voter-approved local sales tax measure.
According to the Public Works Streets Division, small pavement repair projects are completed each year as authorized by the City Council. So far, one project has been completed, with nine more planned. By using city staff and equipment for smaller repairs, Paso Robles aims to improve local streets while reducing costs and expanding in-house expertise.
