    FCA All-Star classic
Several thousand fans packed War Memorial Stadium in Paso Robles Saturday night for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes All-Star Classic football game. The top high school seniors from San Luis Obispo County played seniors from northern Santa Barbara County.

The SLO County team was narrowly defeated by Santa Barbara at the end of the fourth quarter. The final score was 24-20.

Paso Robles senior Drake Phillips played an outstanding game at defensive end for the SLO County All-Stars.

Former Arroyo Grande coach John Huss was honored as Honorary Coach. Huss coached Arroyo Grande to four CIF Championships in the 80s and 90s. He played for Stanford before becoming a coach at Arroyo Grande.
