Grants available for programs serving young children and families
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, public agencies, schools, and school districts
– First 5 San Luis Obispo County has announced the release of the Early Childhood Stabilization Fund Request for Applications, offering funding to support community organizations that provide services for families with children from prenatal to age 5.
The funding aims to help sustain essential programs and services that have been reduced or eliminated due to recent funding losses or policy changes.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Dec. 5. A total of up to $150,000 is available, with individual grant awards ranging from $5,000 to $50,000. The funding term will run from Feb. 1 to June 30.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, public agencies, schools, and school districts serving families with children from prenatal to age 5 in San Luis Obispo County.
