Earthquake recorded near San Simeon early Thursday
– A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck the North Coast of San Luis Obispo County early Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake occurred at a depth of 3.2 miles and was centered 9.3 miles northwest of San Simeon, southeast of Ragged Point near San Carpoforo Creek.
