City to host second food truck regulation review meeting
Meeting set for Nov. 12 at Centennial Park Norris Room
– The public is invited to attend and participate in the second meeting of the City Council’s Food Truck Regulation Review Ad Hoc Committee on Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. in the Norris Room at Centennial Park, located at 600 Nickerson Drive. A Spanish translator will be provided.
City staff will present an overview of concerns raised at the last meeting, share findings, and make recommendations to the Ad Hoc Committee City Council Members. Members of the public will have an opportunity to provide comments, suggestions, and concerns.
The Food Truck Regulation Review Ad Hoc Committee consists of City Council Members Steve Gregory and Chris Bausch, who were appointed by the City Council to work with staff and engage with local stakeholders to gather feedback and form recommendations for future action. No changes to the existing regulations will be made during the ad hoc committee meetings.
Existing food truck regulations are located in Paso Robles Municipal Code Chapter 21.69.120, titled “Food Trucks and Food Truck Courts.” Additional information regarding food truck regulations can be found online in both English and Spanish at www.prcity.com/foodtrucks.
Written public comments can be submitted in advance of the meeting via email to cityclerk@prcity.com or mailed to the City Clerk at 1000 Spring Street, Paso Robles, CA 93446. Comments received by noon on the day of the meeting will be included as an addendum to the agenda.
