    Update: Volunteers needed for Christmas Light Parade

    – The Downtown Paso Robles Main Street Association, organizers of the Downtown Paso Robles Christmas Light Parade, are seeking volunteers to serve as barricade monitors for this year’s event on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 2:30 to 8 p.m.

    According to organizers, Santa “needs some help,” and volunteers will be provided pizza for their time.

    The parade itself is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025.

    Those interested in volunteering can call the Main Street office at (805) 238-4103.

    Theme is ‘Christmas Lights, Winter Nights’ for this year’s parade

    – The 64th Annual Christmas Light Parade will be held in downtown Paso Robles on Dec. 6, starting at 6 p.m. This year’s theme is “Christmas Lights, Winter Nights” and is sponsored by H and R Block, Bank of the Sierra, and Adventist Health.

    The parade marks the arrival of Santa Claus in downtown Paso Robles. Santa will be in residence at the Holiday House in the downtown city park until Christmas Eve. The hours are posted on the Holiday House and on pasoroblesdowntown.org.

    The parade will start at 6 p.m. and will travel north on Spring Street from 10th Street to 14th Street, then east to Park Street. It will continue around the downtown city park on Pine Street to 11th Street. The deadline to enter is extended to Tuesday, Nov. 18.

    The event is organized by the Downtown Paso Robles Main Street Association. The parade offers cash prizes of $100, $50, and $25, as well as ribbons for winning entries. Applications are available at the Downtown Paso Robles Main Street office at 836 Norma’s Alley in Paso Robles and online at pasoroblesdowntown.org, or by calling (805) 238-4103.
