Learn the art of color mixing with WB Eckert at Studios on the Park
Workshop covers techniques for identifying and mixing colors using acrylics
– The Paso Robles Art Association will host “Mixing Colors to Get the Color You Want,” a hands-on workshop led by artist and instructor WB Eckert on Nov. 22. The class will take place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Paso Robles Art Association Gallery at Studios on the Park.
The workshop will cover techniques and strategies for effective color mixing. Participants will learn how to identify, match, and mix colors through guided exercises using acrylic paints. The instruction applies to any painting medium.
The class fee includes paints, brushes, and equipment. Students should bring 6-by-8 or 8-by-10 canvas boards, which are available at Michael’s, or an 8-by-10 Bristol board pad. Attendees are encouraged to wear clothes suitable for painting.
The workshop is limited to 10 students to allow for individualized instruction. The fee is $95 per person and is nonrefundable.
