Local winery announces new ownership
Winery also expands event and hospitality services
– Villa San Juliette Vineyard & Winery in San Miguel is under new ownership, and is expanding its event and hospitality offerings, according to a recent press release.
The proprietor of Continental Vineyards has taken ownership of the property. The estate’s name, branding, and production of handcrafted, estate-grown wines will remain the same. The new owner plans to invest in upgrades designed to enhance guest and event experiences.
According to the information provided, improvements are underway throughout the property. The updates include new event furnishings, refreshed outdoor areas, and expanded onsite lodging for wedding parties and private groups. The property now features an updated six-bedroom, six-bathroom villa available for overnight stays. The villa includes access to a private pool and hot tub. New lodging benefits for wine club members are also being added.
The winery appointed Roxan Kragten as its new general manager. Kragten will oversee daily operations and guide the property’s event-focused plans.
“Villa San Juliette has long been cherished for its European charm, manicured gardens, and intimate setting,” said Kragten. “Our goal is to preserve the magic that couples and guests already love while investing in enhancements that make weddings and private celebrations even more unforgettable.”
Villa San Juliette hosts weddings, milestone celebrations, corporate retreats, and private events and features vineyard views, formal gardens, and estate wines produced in an old-world style. The public may visit the winery for tastings on the patio during regular business hours.
