    Magnitude 3.5 earthquake reported near Templeton 

    – An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.5 was reported near Templeton on Dec. 12, according to seismic data from the United States Geological Survey.

    The earthquake occurred at 3:30 p.m. and was centered about 5 miles west of Templeton, California. The epicenter was located at 35.555 degrees north latitude and 120.795 degrees west longitude.

    The earthquake was recorded at a depth of approximately 3.2 miles.
