Sheriff’s Office graduates nine new correctional deputies 

Graduation ceremony held at Sheriff’s Office

– The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office marked the graduation of nine new correctional deputies from the Adult Correctional Officer Academy Class 25-16 at the Sheriff’s Office.

The academy was conducted by American Training Academy. Lead Instructor John Huskey oversaw the class.

The graduation ceremony included a video highlighting the class’s time in the academy, the presentation of special awards, remarks from guest speaker Lieutenant Ashley Chapman, and the presentation of graduation certificates.

The Sheriff’s Office reported that the nine graduates will join its custody staff following completion of the academy.
