John Flores.
April 23, 1956 – Nov. 30, 2025
– John Anthony, Flores age 69 was born in Montebello, California to John and Sara Flores. He spent most of his life in Bakersfield and passed away peacefully at his home in Paso Robles surrounded by his loving family. A devoted Yankees and music fan, John was always smiling. He loved spending time with his wife, his family, enjoyed traveling and adored his dogs. John attended St Francis elementary school and graduated from North High in 1974. He earned his degree from Bakersfield College and retired after a 20 year career with the city of Bakersfield as an Engineering Technician. In 1989 John met the love of his life, Beverly Rogers, and the two married in 1991. Through their marriage, John gained two daughters, Carrie and Kristin, who he loved as his own. As grandchildren arrived, he cherished each of them deeply.
He was preceded in death by his father John; his brother Thomas; and his brother-in-law, Billy Uribe. He is survived by his mother Sara; his wife of 34 years Beverly; his daughters, Carrie Briscoe and Kristin Wise (Dan); his grandchildren Dean Briscoe, Reeve Briscoe, Pearl Briscoe, Theron Wise and Chase Wise. John also leaves behind his sisters, Carol Uribe and Annette Lesnak (Edward); his brother Paul Flores (Kelly); Patrick Flores (Sherry); Martin Flores (Heidi) and his sister-in-law, Karen Flores as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
