District Attorney hosts fraud prevention seminars Jan. 30

San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Dan Dow.
– The San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office will host a series of free fraud prevention seminars on Jan. 30 at the Katcho Achadjian Government Center in San Luis Obispo.
The Fraud Schemes Prevention and Awareness Forums will be held in the Board of Supervisors Chambers at 1055 Monterey St. and will consist of three separate two-hour presentations focused on identifying, preventing and responding to fraud.
The first session, open to the public, will take place from 9–11 a.m. and will address current fraud schemes aimed at local residents. The second session, scheduled from noon–2 p.m., will focus on identifying fraud schemes targeting real estate sales professionals. The third session, from 3–5 p.m., will cover strategies to help small business owners protect their business assets.
The seminars will be hosted by San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Dan Dow.
