Paso Robles artist teaching jewelry and printmaking workshops
Workshops at local arts center guide participants through completed projects
– Paso Robles artist Brad Golden is offering a series of hands-on art and jewelry-making workshops at Studios on the Park, providing adults with in-person instruction focused on learning practical creative skills.
Golden, a local artist and educator, is leading workshops designed for beginners that cover techniques including silver jewelry, linoleum block printing, and creative design. Participants complete a finished piece during each session and receive step-by-step instruction throughout the process.
“These workshops are about helping people slow down and engage with making something tangible,” Golden said. “Many participants come in unsure of their abilities, and they leave having learned a new skill and completed a piece they can take home.”
Although the workshops take place in Paso Robles, participants attend from across San Luis Obispo County, as well as from Santa Barbara and Monterey Counties. Organizers said attendees include local residents and visitors seeking in-person creative learning opportunities.
Studios on the Park, a nonprofit arts center located in downtown Paso Robles, hosts the workshops as part of its mission to provide arts education and support community engagement.
Upcoming sessions are open to adults of all experience levels. Seating is limited due to space constraints and the instructional format.
The workshops are held at Studios on the Park in Paso Robles. Registration information and schedules are available at BradGolden.com.
