Bearcats Boys’ Soccer rallies past Pioneer Valley

Team moves to fifth place in Central Section rankings
– Tuesday night, the Paso Robles Boys Soccer team came from behind to beat the Pioneer Valley Panthers 3-1 at Paso Robles High School.
The Panthers scored early in the game on a penalty kick, and the score remained 1-0 until 10 minutes left in the second half. Then, Mathew Magdonal scored twice on penalty kicks to give the Bearcats a 2-1 lead. Sophomore Jaime Cervantes scored a nice goal in the final few minutes to seal the victory.
The Bearcats improved to 13-2-1 for the season. Pioneer Valley is now 6-6-2.

The Bearcats are ranked #5 in the Central Section.
They will play at Righetti Friday night, and get a rematch against Santa Maria in two weeks on Jan. 27. That game will be at Paso Robles.
