Tolosa Children’s Dental Center sells San Luis Obispo office
Paso Robles clinic remains open and accepts new patients
– Tolosa Children’s Dental Center, a nonprofit organization providing pediatric oral health care to underserved and underinsured children throughout San Luis Obispo County since 2003, announced operational changes affecting its San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles locations.
The nonprofit has decided to sell its San Luis Obispo office location as part of an effort to strengthen its mission and expand access to oral health care within the community. The San Luis Obispo location will be taken over by Dr. Anne Pedersen of Mariposa Pediatric Dentistry in Santa Maria, who plans to open a second office in the space in late January. The change is intended to ensure continued access to pediatric dental care for patients in San Luis Obispo and surrounding communities.

Tolosa Children’s Dental Center will continue operations at its Paso Robles office at 717 Walnut Drive. The Paso Robles location is open Monday through Friday and is accepting new patients ages 0 to 18. The nonprofit is a Medi-Cal dental provider, offers a sliding-scale cash fee program, and accepts out-of-network insurance.
The organization will consolidate operations into the Paso Robles office while continuing its Dentistry at School programs in Shandon and San Miguel. The changes are intended to support long-term sustainability and fiscal responsibility.
