Student art showcase highlights Martin Luther King Jr. contest entries

City of Paso Robles to host Martin Luther King Jr. celebration

    – A student art exhibit opening is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 30, from 5-6 p.m. at the Paso Robles City Library.

The exhibit features artwork by Paso Robles students in grades 7-12 who participated in the annual Martin Luther King Jr. art contest.

The theme for the 2026 contest is inspired by the quote, “Everyone can be great, because everyone can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”

Prizes will be awarded to the winning entries. Light refreshments will be served.
