Bicyclist injured in vehicle collision in San Luis Obispo 

Cyclist was wearing a helmet and suffered minor injuries

– San Luis Obispo Police and Fire Department personnel responded to a traffic collision involving a bicyclist at about 8:50 a.m. Thursday near South Higuera Street and the South Street intersection.

Police said a cyclist was struck by a vehicle. The cyclist was wearing a helmet and suffered minor injuries. The cyclist was not transported to a hospital.

Police said driving under the influence was not suspected as a factor in the collision.
